| Research: Late Talkers Do Fine |
|
A recent Australian study found that a slow start on language is unlikely to have
lasting effects on a child's' mental health. Researchers followed late talkers into
their teens and found that those with language delay at age 2 years are no more likely
to be shy, depressed or aggressive than normally developing children. Pediatrics, online
