The
non-profit Holistic Moms Network began as a small support
community in New Jersey in May 2002, and has since grown to
include over 50 chapters in the U.S. and Canada for support,
friendship, and information on holistic health and parenting.
Local HMN chapters provide opportunities to discuss and learn
about a broad range of topics that extend beyond breastfeeding and
attachment parenting to include such subjects as vaccination,
homeopathy, simplicity, homeschooling, and environmental concerns.
The HMN mission is to "generate national awareness,
education, and support for holistic parenting and to provide a
nurturing, open-minded, and respectful community for parents to
share these ideals".
We hope that many families will discover this excellent
organization, and consider starting a support group in their area.
